I’ve been dating a girl for about 2 months, but she seems hesitant to go from dating to a committed relationship. The tricky thing is if I tell her I want a relationship, she will view it as needy and not want that.
I think any girl that really cares about will you will be so excited if you tell her you want her to be your girlfriend and see only you!!! That’s what girls are waiting for. I know I didn’t say a word and played hard to get so that my guy would as me — and the waiting was killer. It was so great when he took his profile off line and we became an item. We have been together over a year and I am so glad he wanted to be my boyfriend.
You are clearly serious about wanting to be in a relationship. What you might not be aware of, is that it can be a bit dangerous to just assume something.
You think she will view it as needy, yet you haven’t asked her for her opinion. It is a very scary, and very sensitive subject to bring up. Maybe you know that in the past she has had needy boyfriends. But wanting to be with someone, and ‘being needy’ as you put it are two very different things.
2 months is a solid foundation to build something much more long term, but you have to be open with her. If you are scared now, just think about some of the questions you might have to answer further into your relationship. If you really do have feelings for her, ask her where she sees your relationship going. If she suggests the possibility of wanting to be your girlfriend, then great. If she is happy to stay as you are, then maybe she was never destined to be your girlfriend.
The key is communication – you have to talk to understand eachother!

It’s easy. Get to do sensual things together and make her want it. if you two are constantly kissing and can’t keep away from eachother, then you probably should be in a relationship. If not, maybe you should look for something better… two months are two months.
On the other hand, if not, get her on a really nice date, and stop somewhere romantic, and ask her if she wants to be your girlfriend.
I think its very sweet personally.
Just go out and say it. Maybe bring it up over dinner or maybe try to bring up the future or something in just a regular conversation between the two of you.
just take her aside and ask her if she wants to be with u in a relashionship or if she just wants 2 keep dating, and that either way its cool with u. that way it won’t be awkward.
