I’m sure everyones dated someone they knew they wouldn’t marry but had a great time with them and figured there was plenty of time to meet the perfect person later.
My question is about what age to you start dating ‘for keeps’ or looking for someone you can spend the rest of your life with.
For Example: While in college you date the hot cheerleader because she’s fun and you wanted to go to parties and be seen with her. how old were you when you realized it was time to look for someone you could marry?

I’ve been through a lot recently, from personal issues regarding self-esteem and it’s effects on relationships to the aftermath of breakups. For exmaple: It’s been like hell trying to get over my first sexual partner.
I find it comforting to read what others have to share.

There’s some 16 year old girls at my school dating 22 year old college guys and there’s also a senior girl I know who’s going out with a 14 year old freshman boy. I was just wondering what was the biggest age difference anyone had between you and the person you were dating? Do you notice anything different when going out with someone older than you compared to a person younger than you?
